Rare genetic anomaly linked to 20% of childhood Acute Myeloid Leukemia cases

Now cancer experts at the University of South Australia are striving to change these outcomes as new genetic research shows that up to 19 per cent of childhood AML cases are linked to rare genetic changes that may be inherited through family blood lines.
