Bruce-Grey MPP Creates Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

OPACC was proud to be a part of this event at Queen's Park on May 5th, where Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound MPP Bill Walker motioned to recognize September as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in Ontario and to recognize the gold ribbon as the awareness symbol of childhood cancer. The motion received unanimous support and we hope it will encourage all Ontarians to be more aware of childhood cancer and thus lead to more fundraising, support, and research.
