Jadyn Chaisson (12), Nataniel Hudson (8) and Stephanie Simmons, three Ontario kids with a history of cancer, sounded the siren today to open trading at the Toronto Stock Exchange and mark the beginning of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September.
Note: Many thanks to Neal Rourke from Childhood Cancer International, the TMX Group, and The Big Book of Care (www.bigbookofcare.org) campaign for inviting OPACC to be a guest at this morning's Toronto Stock Exchange Market opening ceremony in support of the #bigbookofcare campaign and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! This is only the second opening bell ringing ever taking place anywhere in the world for childhood cancer awareness, the first being a New York Stock Exchange closing bell last year. OPACC was honoured to be among the wonderful organizations represented today in this historic opportunity for childhood cancer awareness!
